Our Story
Founded in 2016, Colquitz Engineering Ltd focuses on water resources and municipal infrastructure. Our primary office is located in Victoria, BC and we operate in British Columbia and Alberta.
Colquitz Engineering has completed over 250 projects for regional and local governments, First Nations, land developers, consultants, contractors, and institutions. We are dedicated to first-rate client service, and the provision of technically excellent professional engineering advice and deliverables.

Jeff Howard
Jeff Howard has over 25 years of consulting engineering experience primarily in the water resources field. Jeff has been fortunate enough to work on many interesting and complex projects for a wide variety of public and private clients. Jeff founded Colquitz Engineering Ltd. in 2016

Chris Lee
Chris Lee is a Professional Engineer with over 20 years of experience in municipal and community infrastructure, land development, site servicing, feasibility studies, asset management, and condition assessment projects.

Project Coordinator
Andrea Draijer
Andrea Draijer has over 15 years of experience spanning information management, public service, and non-profit sectors and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role as a project coordinator. Andrea assists in bid coordination, project scheduling, stakeholder engagement, and quality control.

EIT
Emily Haas
Emily’ Haas' work experience includes Colquitz Engineering, Calid Services, the City of Langford, and Urban Systems. She has gained valuable work experience on municipal infrastructure and water resources projects for both Municipal and Indigenous clients. This includes surveying, infrastructure design and drawing production, stormwater management analysis, infrastructure modelling, and report preparation.

CAD Technician
Sam Howard
Sam Howard primarily provides drafting services using Autodesk Civil 3D on municipal infrastructure and water resources projects. He also assists with site reconnaissance, data collection, and other field work.

Office Dog
Luna
Luna is experienced in naps and walks. She assists with dropped food and appreciates stretching out unencumbered.
